The Nottinghamshire Rifle Association was founded in 1860 to promote target shooting within the county. To this end the Association runs county and inter-county competitions and promote and support individuals selected for the national teams. As well, we support new shooters with coaching, facilities and finances. We currently support all forms of target shooting and we are represented by at least six international shots on the full bore and muzzle loading shooting teams. We currently have eighteen clubs affiliated to the association.
